Fun in "Begus"

We went to "Begus" to celebrate Mom and Dad's 40 anniversary! It was sooo much fun, I don't know where to start. The first night, we stayed at Buffalo Bills. We had a roller coaster outside of our window! (The 2nd pic). Uncle Pete joined us on Sunday at Circus Circus. Holly wasn't able to come because she got sick on Friday. I'll put some of the pics on here, but I have a TON. Yes, we gambled, but the best part was just hanging out and seeing things. While the girls were napping, Pete took Mom and I on a little tour of the strip at night. The 1st pic is at the Bellagio where they have a water show with fountains played to music. It was mesmorizing. He took us through some of the high mucky muck hotels and it was truly unbelievable.
Right before Pete had to leave, we went to the Stratosphere! It is a hotel and casino with thrill rides. Here is the description: The Big Shot thrill ride catapults 16 riders from the 921-foot high platform up the Tower's mast to a height of 1,081 feet. Traveling at 45 miles per hour, riders experience 4G's as they reach the very top, and feel negative G's on the way down. (It fails to mention that it makes your stomach drop like it never has before and makes you so scared you almost cry and when you get off, your legs and arms shake like mad! ) It is something I will never forget!
It was my favorite vacation ever and I'm sure it was for the rest of my family too. John and I both came out ahead at the casinos too! :) So, thank you so much to Mom, Dad, and Pete. It was the best time of my life!
