Tiger Game

We got a call from Megan who had free Tiger's tickets (and ride passes) for the game within 2 hours!!! John tried rounding up friends but since it was last minute and a night game, nobody wanted to go. We ended up packing up the girls and got there in the middle of the 1st inning. We had sooo much fun! We ate some yum food and sang, "Go Cubs Go" or "Doe Tubs Doe" We left after the 7th inning stretch... and yes it went "...so it's root, root, root for the CUBBIES..." They were playing Seattle instead, but Lib and Leah didn't know! :) As we were leaving, there were some homeless people begging. We walked by a man saying (as fast as you can read it), "Hey man, you got some change to spare... you know I got nothing and a little change would really help me out.. oh, she's so cute, you are really blessed with dat one there. God bless you." Libby's jaw was all the way dropped and could not stop her questions... "What did he say, Mom?" and I responded with, "Oh never mind, do you remember the name of the street where we parked?" She replied, "Was he speaking in Spanish?" We need to get small town white girl out more! They slept the entire way home. And no, the girls are NOT Tiger fans and hopefully never will be! (in case you were wondering Gutz, Matt, and Dad!) As Leah would say, "Doe Tubs!"
