Climber!
Leah turned from sweet baby to crazy climber! Yesterday was a BIG adventure! While I was making supper, the girls were playing dolls in the living room. When Libby came into the kitchen, I asked her to go back out and play with Leah. She yelled, "She's not here!" We both went running around the house (checking the toilet first). No Leah, but we heard footsteps. She was upstairs in Libby's bed! She shimmied the gate, climbed the steps, and climbed more steps to get on Libby's bed! 3 no no's in one! She was very proud and extrememly hyper at this point. At other moments in the day, she was standing in a drawer of an end table while I was standing RIGHT beside her. Then she was trying to climb on our big buffet. I needed a break when John got home, so I went golfing a quick 9 with Lisa.
John told me that I was not going to believe what Leah did while I was gone. I said, "Try me!" Well, he had the girls out in the backyard and went in to get them some juice. When he came back out, he didn't see Leah, but could hear her saying, "Bike, Bike, Bike, Bike." He looked over and she was sitting in the bike seat ready to go for a ride! Don't ask how it didn't tip over! We have our hands full with this little stunt lady! She is a good girl though. She takes 1 1/2 hour nap in the AM, 2 hour PM and sleeps 12 hours every night! She needs the sleep so she can RUN wild the rest of the time.
Another funny: Libby got a package in the mail today. Before she opened it she yelled, "Oh look! A pretty bracelet!" It was a rubber band. She also was obsessed about a dead baby bird that we found on the cement one night. She had sooo many questions so I had her call my mom. Mom talked to her about it and then Mom asked where the momma bird was at the time. Libby said (matter of fact), "At the funeral home."

It's none of my business, but there seems to be a level irresponsibility here on the parents' part.
