Almost done!
These two just sat outside the kitchen today and watched the guys do their thing.
These cupboards were in before, but not the floor and countertops.
This is the new sink, disposal, and dishwasher! YEAH!!!
This is the view from the old back porch.
Our pantry is wonderful with pull-out drawers. Now we can find stuff!
They are smiling now, but when homework time comes, this is the spot where it will be done. We have to look for some bar stools and some cord thing for our lights. They are finishing up trim and have one more spice cupboard and a couple of shelves to put up. The end is near! Let us know suggestions for the walls... paint? wallpaper? colors???? HELP

Speaking from experience, do NOT put up paper. I have removed wallpaper from 3 bedrooms, still have our office, and probably some day my livingroom/diningroom/stairwell to do yet. If someday down the road you decide you don't like your paper, you would have to tear it off. Yuck. With paint, you can always just paint over. And paint goes on much easier than paper!! Just my opinion, of course!!!

I agree with the girls about the wallpaper...but damn, you are a good designer! The kitchen looks amazing! I loved having red in my kitchen that had dark granite counter tops. It would really make your white cabinets pop out. Any shade of light brown (Taupe) also looks amazing against white cabinets. That would look great with your floors too. Then you could have all your towels/pot holders a bright accent color. Then when the bright color that is in style changes, you can just change the linens and not the whole kitchen. Do you already have some accent colors within your dishes? You could display some of those pieces above the cabinets. Look at you, you got me going! ~ April

Your kitchen remodel looks great. Wow, your choices for paint are wide open. I think grey or tan would look good ... picking up colors from floor tile and window trim! Hmmmm.....your gorgeous models do a great job showing the kitchen. Seems like I remember one of the girls mentioning purple!!!! Ha!
