Busy Weekend!
We had a busy weekend! The top picture is right before the Mother/Daughter banquet at Grandma Ort's church. Everything went ok, minus Leah yelling, "FRICKIN" when everything was silent. It is her big swear word and she said it b/c the little angel (not Lib) sitting beside her was being a loud devil. Frickers is John's favorite place to eat too, so that is where the word came from originally. I was sitting a row ahead of her and whipped around and Judy said, "Oh, she's fine!" She obviously didn't hear or understand that word! The headband and shoes only lasted about 5 min. too. She ate like a little lady and the rest of the night was stress free. Libby was good too and gave everyone around us a heart sticker from her purse.
We finally broke out the jeep for the summer. Daddy didn't enjoy his first lesson in driver's ed with a 3 yr. old! Leah tried too, but was laughing too hard to keep the peddle going. It was hilarious as I just stood there with the camera! :) I still need to learn how to get those videos on here.
Thanks for this idea, Mel! I have no idea how much I spent on this, but Tecumseh is my new favorite town! Laura S., Stacy P., and I went to city-wide garage sales yesterday and people were practically letting us have things. Most of these were either 10, 25, or 50 cents each. The most exciting part of the day was finding a sale with slim jeans for Lib for the fall for 50 cents. They all had adjustable pull things on the inside. The most I spent was $2 on the dress on the end. Yes, it is the same dress Libby is wearing in the top picture, and yes it is clean. :) We also got a few books and a backpack. Jack and Margaret- we stopped by but you weren't home. I also picked up a cute bowl at Jessica's sale for 25 cents!

Love the dresses and the Jeep! The girls are growing like crazy! When do you think you'll be home next? We will need to get together, if you have time! Love, Gutz
